About the Course
This advanced 30-hour CBT course equips therapists with essential skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for effectively treating various psychological disorders. Participants will gain a deep understanding of Understanding CBT & the various models, Assessment in CBT, Structuring the Initial Assessment Session, Identifying Treatment Goals & Formulating Case, Selecting, Appropriate CBT Techniques, Processes in CBT & Goals in CBT, Core and intermediate beliefs, Automatic Thoughts & Cognitive Distortions, Cognitive Techniques in CBT, Behavioral Techniques in CBT, Role of the Therapist in CBT, Building Rapport and Trust with the Client, The Therapeutic Alliance in CBT, Termination and relapse prevention.
The course covers key cognitive techniques such as self-monitoring, challenging maladaptive thoughts, and worry time, along with behavioral techniques like behavioral activation, exposure and response prevention, behavioral experiments, etc.
Specialized CBT applications for disorders including depression, anxiety, panic, phobias, OCD, BDD, Hoarding disorder, PTSD, eating disorders, substance use, sleep disorders, Impulse Control Disorders, Somatization Disorders, Sexual Dysfunction, chronic pain, and personality disorders will be explored in depth, with each disorder including a case study and step-by-step treatment process.
Therapists will also learn to build rapport, establish a strong therapeutic alliance, and implement strategies for termination and relapse prevention.

Ms. Sanskriti Singh, RCI registered Senior Clinical Psychologist & Psychotherapist with 13+ years of clinical experience. Her work experience includes various hospitals, Clinics, NGOs & private practice. Worked extensively in both inpatient & outpatient settings with all age groups. She has vast experience in dealing with all psychiatric disorders as well as psychological difficulties. Ms. Singh has published three books. She is also a dedicated educator who frequently facilitates webinars/ course to support aspiring psychologists and MHPs in their professional development.
